Thread: Wouldn't it be nice to have an 'Items and Loot' correspondent?

Someone who could pester them about droprates of this and that and boring loot tables of tougher mobs, general issues that relate to loot and items. Someone who'd point out that the rebreathers spawning in the containers in the DWB and geo labs have been bugging the containers since pre-CU along with a top five of the most annoying loot-related bugs.
It's the same way with missions and quests really, what would SOE have to lose on giving some stu... err... enthusiastic well-organized person thetask of sorting through the communities various complaints, issues and suggestions and forwarding it to the dev team.
Any thoughts?
I think it would be nice, but imagine the work involved? Proffession correspondents must have a hard enough time keeping up to date with issues inone profession... imagine having to keep up to date on the entire SWG loot table???

It can't be that hard......The loot table for SWG works kinda like the Soup Nazi from Seinfeld "NO LOOT FOR YOU!!" (unless you are a BH or POI-Camper.)
I could stick up a focus thread for loot related top five Issues and top three bugs and get it stickied, then edit it as reports come in.

yeah i think its a pritty good idea and although you cant expect one person to have an intimate knowledge of every single loot drop at any point in time, it would be good to have someone who can bring info on drops etc together and pass confirmed and organised info to the people at the top.
id be up for it if the job were there.

Actually, thinking about it, I dont mind co-ordinating the collection of some loot related bugs.
Any ideas on how you would like to proceed?

That last would work great, at least one clear document where the playerbase actually gets to communicate our primary issues and concernswhen it comes to loot and items. Some of the bugs with loot especially, well, they really seem to fall between the cracks when it comes to being fixed. Or actually coming to someone's attention for that matter.
(As for voting for me, I wouldn't dream of applying, I'm not that st... er... I mean... I don't think I have all the qualities that would qualify me for such a position. Yeah, that's what I meant!
Please don't unguild me.)

I believe thatItems/Loot and Quests/Missionsare part of the Core Systems Correspondent's responsibilities, whoever that is nowadays... Kstarfire still?
But if the correspondent’s job is to bring the majorities wishes and concerns to the devs attention I can finish the job right here. Not everyone has one of everything and would like to have a NS bicep, full suit of mando and jet pack placed in their inventory. Meatlumps need to drop flawless pearls preferably at a rate of two pearls per kill.
I'd know, if the search function would work *grumble* Is there any list of Core System issues, top 5's, what-have-you, somewhere? I vaguely recall there being a "Core Systems" forum at some point, but since I couldn't find it I'm guessing it's been split (Why isn't there a combat specific core systems forum anyway? I watched them introduce these, and for a couple of minutes it was there, then it just dissappeared)

Core systems is still in the professions area.
