hello i saw alot of ppl post things on bs helmets... are they loot or what? if any one has a picture of it i will be more than pleased to see what they look like

The Black Sun Helmet is looted from high tier BS Pilots up in space. i believe it's Tier 4 and 5 pilots that have the helmet. Me and my hubby have tried on many occasions to find one and have killed over a hundred and still no drops. They are pretty rare and if you want to see an image of one try Picture 713 On the Star War Galaxies main webpage under the screenshots of the day. you get a nice side profile of one. Trying a clicky to it but not sure if it will work.

Not sure if they are that rare anymore see more and more people running around with them every day... But if you are a Neutral pilot you can pull missions on black suns (duty mission) from the tier 4 pilot trainer (if i remeber right) in theeds palace. Thats where i got mine back in the days. Rebel pilots can get duty missions from one of thereb pilot trainers (not sure which one) and IMPS well they cant get any duty missions on BS. But i know there is a BS spawn in the endorian systemthat drops to, cant remember which jump point its closes to tho...

FYI the drop rate on these helmets is around 1:2500, and this was confirmed by a CSR, and the funny thing was i looted mine on the 4th one i killed lol.

I've looted 2 thus far in my Ace Pilotting career...and yes. the Rebel Tier 4 trainer in the Hotel in Nyms Fortress on LOK has a Black Sun Duty Mission.They are still rare. Worth a good sum of money. 10 mil would be a fair B/O. I would not sell one for less than 5 mil though its rare..as previously stated.
