Thread: Krayts hardly dropping pearls?

K so i killed about 35 krayts today and i looted 2 pearls...but last night i looted 3 pearls off of 6 krayts. It seems since my server has restarted (gorath) the pearls arnt dropping. At first i thought it was just cause i was hunting in graveyard and some ppl say that pearl drops are rare in graveyard but then i went outside of it to random spawns...and still nothing. Anyone else having this probelm on there server as well?

My brother and I spent about 30 minutes killing random spawns of Krayts and looted about a dozen pearls, so I don't think anything is broken.

theres usually one of these posts after almost every server reset now, its just random, some days you will kill 50 and get 1 or 2 pearls, other days we get 4 pearls in a row. completely random as it seems. try again. as well from what I have seen the graveyard always seems to drop less for me.

Spent 30-45 mintues killing about 3-5 Grands and about 2-3 adolecents....not a single item looted.

On Saturday night, I killed 4 adolecent 4 grands and an ancient, and all I got was 1set of tissue, a set of scales, and a delicate trigger assembly. I was not impressed.

Drops on everything except canyons/juveniles seem to be very low. Killed over 20 Ancient without any really good loot. Killed about 10 juves afterwards in a row and got some nice loot + 2 pearls. Best droprates I get are from juveniles, mostly pearls with over 1K cond. so I see no reason why i should kill anything harder then canyons.
It's just like pre-cu, juv's were dropping massive ammounts of pearls, but only quality. Same for canyons with lower rates, but rarely prems too. Ancients prems/flawless with a low droprate. Now all krayts drop good, but droprates seem to be untouched so stick with juvs/canyons.
