So after many hours of either me or friends trying at the fort or with wild tusken spawns and getting no feed tubes i decided to try the bunker (waypoint -1500 -200) and looted two tubes in a couple of hours. Have no idea if i was just extremely lucky or whether they may drop more here as there are different types of tuskens that spawn (warriors/guards/elite guards etc).
May be worth a try for those that are having a hard time finding these.

i've been to the fort myself and after having no luck and getting bored from the cave as it is i changed location to the bunker but no luck there either.
on the last 20 minutes of my buff heading home already i went into a wild spawn of tusken and looted one tube of a raider
ergo : drops are d4mn random

looting feed tubes is very random. think of them in the same terms as how adhesives were when first introduced.
the thing about the fort is that a lot of ppl areonly there for the cheifs, captains, and warlords. i sometimes see a lot of corpses of lesser tuskens left unlooted. the tubes can drop from any tusken...so when the roll hits to finally drop a tube...sometimes it may be in those unlooted bodies. the thought of which is frustrating...

I found a feed tube in less than a hour at Fort Tusken. The trick is to focus on the Tusken Commoners, as these are the NPC that drop the feed tube.

I spent some time at the Fort and looted my own feed tube. In doing so though, I learned a GREAT tip.
Lots of players go to the Fort. Lots of these players couldn't care less about a feed tube.
Ask and ye shall receive!
I talked to a few guys and two told me they just deleted one, three said "sure, if I loot one it's all yours" and a fourth actually said "ya, I've got one... want it?".

What's a feed tube?
It's a component of the Organic Combiner (creature recycler).
You're an Antarian Ranger and you're not all over this one?? Or was there sarcasm in your post I couldn't detect?

I can confirm this. I was just at Fort Tusken tonight. The first one I killed was a commoner and he dropped a Feed Tube! I actually ended up with 3 tonight in one buff session. Hope that helps ya!

You might also try the NPC's that spawn outside of the cities on Talus, Chunkers or something like that never got one off a Tusken.
