Thread: What the heck do you need for the Mangled Droids?

Sorry. I hit the enter key after I sneezed mid-composition lol.
I know that it requires 50 pieces. It is an insane number of they are not repetitive and completely loot-based unique parts. However, if they are the generic Droidsmiths-can-make-them pieces or like 20 parts wire, 5 datadisks etc. then I would at least like to know what I have to obtain to finish it.
I am currently trying to finish several other component-based loot items, like the component analyzer, datadisk repair kit, viewscreen printer and several others.
So, does anyone out there have a clue what these droids need to finish em?

Not sure what you mean by this...I've never heard of "Mangled Droids",,
There is a loot schematic out there for a Headless Protocol Droid...Is this what you mean? If so, just give the schem to a DE and they can make it with some metal, polymer and something else.
I thought I'd looted all of the new stuff lol...I hope this Mangled Droid exists! Something new to find!

Mangled droid?... Are you talking about the headless protocol droid? if so the above poster is correct, they take zero components, just basic resources.

There were about 15 of them on the bazaar on Bloodfin last weekend. I think the title was "AMP Mangled Protocol Droid." It looks like a component bin (displays "0/50") and I haven't found a single part to put in it yet.

Hmmm thats pretty interesting, ive neither seen nor heard of any of these on lowca. If you got the name of the person that was selling them on the bazzar you should ask him where they came from so others can help figure these out.

Sounds like it is the headless protocol Droid that has been crafted with that name and sold on the Bazaar. Thathas 0/50 storage limit thingy.

LOL, yes, that sounds like what is going on. I have to admit I was a bit perplexed at first.
It functions as a container/backpack - but the radial menu option is broken, so the only way to use it so far is to target it and ty[e "/open".
It's not a loot kit, it's a functional decoration.

Okay, then. I guess someone just decided to name them lol. Oh well, it will make an interesting addition to my house. Thanks for the input.
