Items And Loot Archive

Just thought i would put together a little list of the main new stuff and see what peoples opinions on them are, I moved this thread from the TC forums, ill do my best to keep it updated. Hope it helps.

New Resource Art...

There is New art for all the different types of hide, almost all of the Flora, Liquid petrochem, Water and Milk.

Check out this post New Hide Pictures by Red-Dwarf To see some Pics of the stuff.

No new art for Meat or Bones yet, hopefully that will be added soon though...

I like the hide, i think the petrochem needs to be bigger, and the bowls should lose the pointy bit on top. I havent seen the water or milk yet.

Option to turn off Inventory Autosort...

People asked for it and they got it, it works, not much to say about this.

Fixing the Chair Slide bug....

The chair slide bug has been in since beta as far as i can remember, so its nice to see that one fixed. Little things like this and the resource art add much needed polish to the game. It says a lot about the direction the game is going in now imo. A good thing.

Beserker Rifle fix....

One that i think a lot of people will be happy about. I havent tried making one myself yet but Theos_Robos Has confirmed that this is all in working order.

Recyclers....

Ok we have been given some info on the recyclers, check out the link here...Phase 2 Loot Items: Recyclers

You need to loot the the schematic, and the components and then put them together to make the recycler.

Heres a list of the recyclers and what you need to make them....

Creature Recycler Schematic

1. 50x fiberplast


2. 50x steel


3. 1x agitator motor


4. 1x feed tube


5. 4x pulverizers


6. 4x spinner blades

Agitator Motor Schematic

1. 40x ferrous metal


2. 1x cheap copper battery


3. 2x red wires

Metal Recycler Schematic

1. some reources

3. 1x Small Motor


4. 4x Heating Element

Gas Recycler Schematic

1. 30x Gemstones


2. 50x Fiberplast


3. 1x Tumbler Blender


4. 1x Feed Tube

Basicaly you can take those useless small stacks of left over resources and combine them into one stack of the same type of resources.

I can't see them being very usefull but we will see how it works out. /shrug

Datapad/Datadisks

I think datapads were added with the first loot phase, but im going to include them here anyway...

In order to get these to work first you need to make a datapad and a working datadisk. You can then put datadisks in to the empty datapad in order to read them.

The datapad housing or the datadisk repair kit, work like loot kits you drag and drop the items inside and once you have put in everything they give you a finished item. (these also have the bug of showing 0/5 no matter how much you put in, as well as the fact that it should read 0/1. They do work though)

When you combine the empty datapad and the datadisk you get a small piece of fiction, like those dropped in the DWB. I got "Journal of Dr. Kaldaar"

New Loot!!

There is some Brand New Loot to be had. Most of it seems to drop off of thugs (meatlumps etc) Different gangs drop different types of loot, meatlumps seem to drop schematics and copper batteries whereas valerians drop lots of the pistol buff items and party posters for example.

Im not going to list here which mobs drop what loot, Ragnaat has an excelent post with details about those things over on the SWGtest boards The p12 Loot Thread.... So help him out with that if you can.

Painting Kits

There are two kinds of paint kits, the Picture Printer, and the Viewscreen Printer. these work the same way loot kits do, you put a set of components in either the Picture Printer or the Viewscreen Printer, they are consumed and you get a painting in your inventory.

Currently these will show 0/5 no matter how many components you put in them, as well as the fact that the Picture Printer should read 0/4. They still work though.

All of the schematics dropped so far are 1 use as far as i know. (I've put the skill req to make the items by each of them)

1. Gaming Table(Underworld I) This one is interesting as there is a use option on the radial menu, it doesn't do anything just yet though.

Skill Enhancers

Flexible Tendon Bolsterer

So far these seem to increase either speed or acc by 10 for 5 mins each has 5 uses. I have seen them drop for polearms, pistols , rifles, two-handed, one-handed and unarmed. Someone also looted one for Maskscent i think, so there may be more that apply to non combat things.
