Who is tired of fighting for horus on end trying to get every little peice of the particular item you're trying to make?
Who would prefare to do some sort of quest to either: get the parts, get a schematic to make 'special' items with non-looted resources, or get the particular item ready made ?
My experience of "loot hunts" is that they take an inordinant amount of time. Looking for this stuff really just feels like "game filler" (i.e. occupying us to distract us from lack of alternative content), it's time consuming, boring and frustrating. At the end of the day you can often sit back, let someone else do it, and just pay for the looted items, which in turn hurts the ecconomy because of the hugely inflated prices these sort of things go for.
However, if you were to do a quest, then you'd get a bit more of a sense of acheivement and have some thing to show for your trouble? (rather than shooting however many NPC's not even knowing if you'll get what you're looking for).

I agree. I'd like to see the end of "loot kits" myself. And find a new more quest oriented way to get the items.

I agree, or at least make loot spawns alittle higher so you don't spend months trying to get one component. /fivestars

I'd rather have quests.
Alot of the loot kit items are nice but getting those items is nothing but a hassle. It should be fun, engaging and enjoyable... Not something a person must endure.
When wanting to collect items for a loot kit I'm better off visiting vendors outside of Coronet or the Bazaar and buying all the items then killing mobs for hours on end.
