Thread: Good Mobs to kill for SEAs?

We all know about Nyax but what else has a good drop rate of SEAs?
In my experience mid-level SEA drops pretty well of NPCs (Corsair, Nyms, Mercenaries etc; seems to have got an increased drop rate lately) on Lok and Akuuan Champions. I have killed tons of NS and SMC lately (most mid-level like NS Rangers/Tamers and SMC Huntress/Dragoons) but I have not got a single attachment. Also been killing a lot of FS NPCs (low to mid-level) without getting any SEAs.
Looking for +5 or better

I have also not looted any CA's off of NS or SMC at all. The other NPC's you list are the only ones I know of who can drop CA's, and the gap between those and what Nyax drops is huge. I would be interested in hearing what others have to say as well.

only thing about Nyax is he is heavily camped all day and night....people are getting rich off of people like us....i go there to try and better my character...they go there to make money.....Nyax by far has the best drop SEA's ingame imo

force rated NPC's on dant drop SEA's too. I've looted 3 attachments out of 7 kills from Dark adepts. all of em +10-+19

strictly speaking of NPCs in the wild or from missions (not camped boss spawns such as Lord Nyax)....
aakuans drop up to +6 (either single or totaling) and have the highest drop rate for SEAs atm IMO
with the new loot tables...ppl are finding that Lok NPCs are dropping SEAs with decent regularity. they drop with mods up to or totalingaround +11 or 12i think (the ones i've gottengot up to around this range). Be patient with it,as the average seems to be about one perbuff session...depending on what (and how fast)you kill. stick to high lvl ones...like Canyon Corsair Captains or the stronger Nym Npcs.....any npc withlight armor on lok i think makes a good candidate.
NS can drop SEAs but rarely. The level you get varies with the lvl of NS. initiates can drop up to like +7...sentinels +9....weavers/pros up to +25...elders +25 (on mulitmods)

Yes Lok NPCs drop pretty well. I have killed lots of NPCs on Lok before the loot revamp and almost never got any attachments (only clothing and weapons with stats). Now they seem to drop pretty well. Last time I was there I got 2 +6 tapes.
It also seems that phase 4 Sith Thugs drop pretty well. I never got any decent from them before, but yesterday they dropped me one 250 mind posion pistol and a +6 artisan assembvly/sructure assembly CA. And that was after killign maybe max 10 thugs.

All I know is that Dantooine's fraction npcs don't drop good armor attachments or much of anything, but since this loot revamp i've had a holo and a +6 armor attachment. That doesn't say much but hey whatever helps. Also Akuuan Champions are good from what i have looted from them, haven't messed 2 much with Nyax.
