so i made my chemical recycler (finally) and put some fiberplast in and got the generic "chemical". now my question is does this along with ever type of recycle make only the top tier substance (ie iron turns into non ferrous metal ore turns into generic ore ect. ect)

Honestly, i'm not sure why this one does this...
All chems (fiberplast, polymer) go to their generic chemical ... i don't know whether or not they can be used in schematics... i will give it a try next time i'm on.
I know that the other recyclers (metal, creature and ore) go up one level to their recycle type (ie: creature: hides, meat, bone are generic... metal... i can't remember off hand, but i believe they are become smelted metals (2 levels up perhaps?)... sigh, sorry.. i can't remember right now...

the chemical just turned into generic chemical and i couldnt use it in a fiberplast or inert petrochem? (second might be wrong)big dissapoint ment i was hopeing to turn my 1k stacks of chemical into useable stuff for tailor trim and the likes

All of the recyclers turn a resource into a "generic" form of itself with 200 across the major stats. The Chemical Recycler turns everything into Chemical Compound. The Ore/Gemstone Recycler turns the resources into certain categories (siliclastic becomes low grade siliclastic, Carbonate becomes low grade sedimentary, etc.). The Metal Recycler turns everything into a smelted version of itself (Aluminum becomes Smelted Aluminum, Non-Ferrous becomes Smelted Non-Ferrous, etc.). I have yet to put together the Creature and Flora Recyclers (darned Spinner Blades)but I'm sure they work in a similar fashion.

The Creature Recycler turns any hides, into "Synthesized" hides. Base stats, like all other recycled stuff, is 200 across the board. I finally built mine today, got all my useless scraps of hides lying around, and turned them into a nice little stack. Was tired, so I havent tried to use them on anything. i just hope they work on stuff like pics or packs.

I wish the creature recycler made synthesized hide stacks for scaley, leathery, and wooly.

I can confirm this,I was hoping for a "generic fiberplast" or "generic polymer" type of output..
The chemical recyclerliquifies the stuff you put in it into a generic chemical compound as stated above, and it can not be used in place of polymer of fiberplast..I've tried..
The only thingI can see it being used for is grinding material for a profession that can use any "chemcial" in a schematic..
The stuff is worthless for making pups with the stats at 200..
