Has anyone run across this item as a quest reward yet? I noticed itin the Patch 6 files under object\tangible\wearables\goggles. Was hoping someone had some more info on it, but I haven't been able to find anything yet.

i got one in the geo-caves i dont think it does anything

It's used so you don't get poisoned when you enter a certain room. That's what I was told, anyway... I've never been in the Geo caves...

I looted two in DWB. I keep it in my inventory because its not transferrable. Top level inventory only. It works at Geo Caves and any other spot that has poisonous gases. Try it, it works. RIght now if your buffed you can get poisoned and doesn't matter cause with buffs the poison seems week to you. But if unbuffed it comes in handy!

Also if I wear it can other people see me wearing it.

Also, I was in teh DWB, and opened the one chest, and tehre was a rebreather in there, nbut I couldnt loot it.

No it doesn't work with any other poison in the game. The geo one i got a long time ago I can keep equipped at all times while still wearing a helm, but the one i looted the other night in the DWB takes my helm off. Go figure.


The only two places they work currently are the entrance to the geo lab where the poison cloud is and the mines in the DWB once modified.
