This is a very old bug that has been around for some time.
All you can do is /bug it in game and hope for a fix at some point.

Yup, I know about the bug. It started when they make them so you couldn't trade them in droid storage. I've been bugging it ever since. Now, I'm asking in here hoping it will get a little more focus.
Before the CU it wasn't such a big deal to do the bunker with out them. Now it becomes a big deal with jedi auction getting worn down. But the biggest issue is with refitting them by a MA who can't trade them once they are recrafted in there. Now, the crafters need this more then ever as well.
yes you do now need them in the mines, because since the CU hit, the mines drain your action, making you too tired to attack. Before it didn't matter because of buffs, but that's changed

Oh, it gets worse. Even with the one you have it needs to have a refit done in the DWB for it to work there. You have to loot a rebreather and a gel pack and then get it to a MA that can stay alive long enough to get to the work bench room next to key door 3. They have to pull a fliter out of the terminal and put it and a gel pack in to get a modified fliter. Then combine the filter with a rebreather to get a modified rebreather that will filter the aluminum gas in the mines.
This is were the trouble starts. You can't pull them from chest or coal bins, but you can loot them. You also need to loot a gel pack. You know that bubble gum looking thing that we used to delete when we first started going there. Once you have all of these you need to get the non-tradeable rebreather to a MA so he can refit them.
It's funny how they have this set up. The rebreather takes the same slot as the SEgoggles or other eyewear.
All that really needs to be done is make the rebreathers tradeable. If they wanted to go a little further they could make them group tradable and only while in the DWB.
The big issue is this. Since there are so few people that go to the bunker it doesn't have a ton of focus and isn't a show stopper. That is the reason it's been broken since publish 10. Yup publish 10 and we are coming up on publish 20.

I'm glad you don't need/want them. I'm sure you're great and all, but I'd still like to have the fixed.
But, if you guys so uber you don't need them... then just go post somewhere ok. Or, go turn on the vents.
