To date I have found about 15 firespray disks, but recently the drop rate has gone to nil. I never really counted but in the past I found that I would get a disk about every 200 parts I RE'd, maybe more frequently. I have RE'd over 600 parts since I found a disk, and I have asked others, and no one else has found a disk recently either....

Is there a problem with the drop rate?

I am not sure there is a "rate" per item RE'd. It maybe more of a timelimit. When JTL first launched, I went to the bazaar in EVER single major city and re'd 1000's of loots a day. I was getting maybe 2 or 3 fragments per 300+ items RE'd. Others would casually RE a few items, and end up getting like 1:50.

I got my fourth piece to the Firespray last night. It was off a piece that I looted last night. I had a long dry spell then about 2 weeks ago I got 2 in five minutes. I thought I was in for another dryspell.Then last night the first item I reverse engineered was a level 1 Kuat component and it gave me my fourth piece. I have not been buying components off bazzar but I have 3 pilots and a friend who feed me semi-regularly with components. I have to admit I never considered getting all 8 pieces but now that I am half way there, I actually believe there is hope.
