Thread: why loose time killing Giant canyon krayt when normal canyon drops same loot?

just wandering,
giant canyon has higer ham, higer resist andthey have areadizzy/kd
canyon less ham, less resist, no special attack and same loot as giant (premiun pearls, tissues. segment, and scales)
so why?
dont say quality cause i have heard of juvis dropping 11x100+ tissues

i have heard of giants droping armor and weapons, but chancess are very low like 1/50
and the item most of the time sux

I mostly hunt Krayts for pearls. I stopped killing Giants altogether because they have the same HAM (almost) as Ancients, yet drop premiums instead of flawless. For that I'll go kill Canyons instead. Also, I have yet to loot a weapon or armor piece from a Krayt, ever. I've been here since launch, never got one. And let me just tell you about the number of Krayts I kill a week, it is disturbing.

I got a cdef carbine the other day from, a canyon, a whopping 98 dmg but had 25 carbine accuracy hehe

A: The buggers don't stun you, that just slows down how long it takes to kill them.
B:Not looted weapons off Canyon's or Juvies but I know many of the T-21's on my server have come off the bigger krayt. Have looted some nice weapons off Giants.
C: They only take a fraction less time to kill than an Ancient and can drop natty stuff too...

If you are looking to just get tissues I would say go for Juveys as they seem to drop them more often....or maybe you can just kill them more. If you are out for pearls...well kill Canyons (canyon, juvy spawns are nice). My guild likes to take out giants and ancients for the fun of it and the flawless pearls....we get something like 3 a buff session. As for armor and weapons....well we have seen armor drop from an ancient but it wasn't all that. We would like to see a legandary T21 drop so we keep killing them.

Do what i do... kill every damn thing that moves out there 
. I keep enough dizzy stims on me to handle a giant and if that's what appears in front on me, well eat my t21 "giant" krayt... look who's not so giant now... bizzo *kick in head*
