If I remember right, it's a 1 in 4 chance of getting the rifle, approximately. Get a good group together, go smack ol' Necrosis around until he drops it.

not just for the loot (and the loot can be nice) but fighting yer way down to ol' necro and kicking him down a notch or two with a group of friendsis a pisser of a good time

No duh. That's why you don't fight and run. You just have to use like 3 parawans and a normal burst run. When you get to the little robot dude, just run around in circles and eventually, you'll be de-argoed by everything.
