Thread: What do Recyclers do?

Sorry but the search is buggy again today.
I know that recyclers take different types of a resource and make it generic.
Does it take the best stats from each or average stats?

The stats on the output stack is 200 for everything.
On the one hand, this makes recyclers pretty useless for making items where quality matters.
On the other, it's something that is possible with the SWG resource system. If the output had unique stats, it'd need a unique name, the resource database would expand rapidly, and you wouldn't be able to stack the output of multiple recycler runs. It also allows you to use the recycled resources in things like components, and always be able to do a full factory run without worrying about running out of the particular resource. An architect can make a schematic of structural modules with generic metal and ore, and if he/she runs out of resources can recycle a new stack to finish off the factory run.
