Just do it like everyone else without a root does - snare and kite. Use improved restraining shot to keep it slowed, and run in big circles around the spawn point till it dies. Loot, rinse, repeat.
Yeah basically what he said.
does stopping shot....of master pistoleer.....work...does it actually root?
Thx

Yes you can.
Master Smuggler - improved restraining shot = snare. Can be performed with a rifle at max range.
Master Rifleman - knee cap shot = snare (but a fairly lousy one)
Lead off with the improved restraining shot, re-apply as it wears off to keep the krayt slowed. Alternate with or stack with knee cap to overlap the snares.
Also - invest in some BE enhanced terrain negotiation clothing before you do this (or have a few boxes of the Exploration tree of scouting in your template) or you run the risk of being caught when you run uphill.
And if you miss the root from concussion shot, pick up 0/0/0/3 pistoleer - improved stopping shot is a root. Not nearly as long lasting as concussion was before it was FIXED (not nerfed - it was waaay overpowered as a root) but it helps.
My template of choice - Master Smuggler, Master Carbineer, Pistoleer 0/0/0/3, Scout 2/0/0/0 and some BE clothes. Works like a dream, and uses all 250 skill points when you include the pre-reqs for smuggler and carbineer in the brawler and marksman trees. Rifleman should work as well or better.
Two things to remember: 1) Don't kite the dragon more than 150m from the spawn point (that's why you run in a circular pattern) or it will retreat and heal up, and you have to start over...... and 2) Expect to die every once in a while - it happens. Otherwise, this little technique works well.
thx....didn't know i had a snare....hmmm....i will try that
Thx

Master ID/Artisan lets you solo Krayts
Yeah make it 7 inches tall, 600 pounds and 1500 years old, then all it takes is a CDEF gun
