I've been concentrating on human-like NPCs like Nighsisters, Tusken, etc., and have been looting them accordingly. I've heard that some Rancors and mobs alike drop loot. Is that so and if so, what do they drop. I know Kryats, Gorax and top end mobs drop stuff but I've read reports that Rancors drop crystals, DOT weapons, etc...
Can anyone confirm?

Never heard of them dropping crystals... but they do drop bits of armour and the occasional weapon - they are generally crappy though. Although I have heard of some decent bits dropping from them.
Your more likely to loot something good from a "NPC" though than a Creature

I know that NS Rancors do drop weapons and items like that. I think most of the mid level creature mobs just drop components though, ie rancor hides and segments etc...

Actually regular rancors drop weapons, armor, and normal rancor loot. Looted a few pieces of armor from them from time to time. some modded, but have crappy resists.

Anyone have a link or list of the "new" CU MoB levels? I have looked all over the forums and can't find anything. Is it just me or wouldn't this be a KEY piece of information in the CU? Thx

Not sure about post cu but in the past I have looted numerous crystals from rancors, usually ns rancors, but others dropped them too. Even more so I would get rancor bile, which was used by cm's for poison/diseases.
