Thread: latest krayt and elder information .

okay so i went to the krayt graveyard to check out krayts after the latest mob balancing . juvi ham is 27k and canyon and giants are between 30k and 35k . i only fought 1 krayt and i was dead pretty fast . the canyon i fought was doing around 1200 damage a hit which after a armor was doing around 600 floaty damage . i think the days of soloing these guys is over , i dont remember its creature level but it was red con to my level 80 toon so i think it was around creature level 86 .
after my quick death by the krayt i decided to go to dathomir to see what elders were like . to my surprise elders were only level 82 with around 32k ham . also they were only hitting for around 500 which after armor resulted in around 250 floaty damage . with my mbh / mcm toon i was soloing them with ease with a combination of kiting and using states and applying high damage shots . you have to be carefull when kiting mobs not to go to far from the original spawn point because eventually the mob goes into retreat mode and starts to regen its health super fast . i ended up soloing around 8 elders and each one took between 3 and 5 minutes .
this is the loot i got from them :
elder 1 : onion ( crappy food with even crappier mods )
elder 2 : a damage crystal ( i haven't had it checked so no clue if elders still drop premiums )
elder 3 : a low damage lva
elder 4 : approx 1k credits
elder 5 : a low damage nighsister lance
elder 6 : armor enhancements that look like ns layers but have a different name ( each one gives a bonus of +12 health )
elder 7 : credits
elder 8 : something useless ( cant remember )
looking forward to hear what you guys have been looting since the last patch in which "high level " mobs should drop better loot .

i also killed 2 elders last night and got!!!!!!
1) A two-strap bandolier...
2) some kind of wierd food that is not any good

Krayts are still somewhat soloable if you have the right template
But it would be extremely hard. Me and a friend took one out pretty well
I like that they are harder, but i think elders should be harder than sentinels
and NS Stalkers. BUt alas they are not.
Cleared out the cave as well and got 1 colored crystal and a whole bunch of credits
It was a lot of fun though, had to be careful when drawing the spellweavers and protectors
if got more than 2 we were burstrunning

adolecent krayts are l82
grands are l90
when i was there, they were spawning in a group of 2 ads, 2 grands in one spot.

me and 2 guildmates killed several kimos, lvl from 124 to 150
From about ten kimos, the only single item we looted has been an advancedbattle armor core ( if i remember well its name) from a 124 lvl kimo
maybe something more would have been better,considering their lvl...

I just killed 10 level 82 elders.
I looted 1 damage crystal, which turned out to be a GOOD crystal
What drops premiums now? The price of pearls / crystalsis about to skyrocket

yeah, elders only drop 'good' crystals, but i was able to find 'quality' crystals on level 109 npcs on dant. they con purple and hit for 2200+

I don't know what to say. I attacked a Spellweaver with a BH/ Ranger respec and let her chase me in circles for 10 minutes. I was hitting her with a 900+ scatter pistol the whole time and her red bar never moved.

LOL krayts sooo easy to solo if you have a root,snare, and kd. Master rifleman/bh/some pistols and i solo even ancients

no theyre not leeburt...
theyve gotten so much harder since we did them right after cu...its almost impossible to do.

And I think we are all missing the point of beta live CU.
If you figure out how to solo a Krayt, kill hundreds because it won't work tommorow.

I tried that... Alas they were hitting me from 60m while KD/snared..
