ok i have been doing a ton of space mining lately and looted a colorful asteroid chunk....first time i came across something like it. when i was mining it said "you come across an ineresting looking piece of an asteroid and it has been placed into your inentory"' the description for it reads "This chunk of rock is brilliantly colored. You could probably use it in a crafting recipe"

Any ideas what this is for??

Aye, used in new ship paint kits. I've heard of three. Colorful, glowing and ancient. Each ship kit requires a specific type of asteroid. I havent seen any graphics of the new kits though.

i put mine right inside the door in my large cor house, so you open the door, and see a solid rock.

but it all stays in the entry way, so the rest of the house is normal.

All the space mining loot is only useable to shipwirghts, as well as the resources. You might want to see if any want to buy it.

Not all. Master Artisan will be able to make a BARC refurbish kit for fixing disabled BARC speeders. But, yeah, the least common one to get is the colorful asteroid.
