i got myself this proton rifle.
certification is master commando which i have, yet it wont let me attack any thing with it equpied. any one else having this problem?

Whered you get hte proton rifle? i have yet to find the quest that gives it.

The Devs have always had problems with getting that weapon to work. In TC it took them a few days to get the weapon to fire after the blue frogs were opened up. It took them even longer to get the firing animation to show up. The after all of that was solved around the time the CU went live they added a new proton Rifle in the blue frogs with Heavy Weapon Mods on it and guess what? It couldn't fire! /bug it and report it in the bug threads they'll probably fix it soon.

yea I got mine yesterday and I can't use it, I figured it might be bugged

I hope someone important is reading these boards cause this rifle is bugged, it will not fire!

It is also the reward for one of the Rryatt Trail quests. I believe it is the human in the armor right at the beginning after you enter the gates that gives it.

LOL holy crap! No matter how many times this is pointed out some people just see "Proton" and think there's only one weapon. SHEESH!!!
