I've always assumed that if someone unlocked their slot, they were allowed to creature the Jedi on the same server as their main character. Is this incorrect? I would hate to open my slot and then start fresh on a new and different server....

Your FS char slot is on the same server as the char that opened said slot, so no, you dont have to start over on a fresh server and make new friends, etc.

I have been out of the loop for awhile. Been away from SWG for some time now. I am just wondering what is a great template for hunting high end loot these days? I remember that swordsman/doc used to be good, but I have no idea what is best in post-cu SWG. any tips?

TKM - Master Swords - 4000 Doc is pretty nasty...

or ranged: Master BH - Carbines/Rifles/Pistoleer (allthough i prefer Carbines)
