This question is abouta looted crystal named 'Skill-Enhancing Attachment', that has mods on them. From what I have heard in the past, these are bugged items. Can not be used in clothing/armor/crafting lightsabers. From what I also hear, they were only looted from Krayts. Well, I got one earlier today. Dark red crystal, with 3 mods on it. Though I didn't loot it from a Krayt. I got it from a Giant Kimo on Lok. Are they of any use now? Or are they still considered bugged items?
Also, if there are any collectors out there who are interested in purchasing it, just send me an ingame tell or email. Eclipse server, ingname name: Porcelain.

I submitted a bug report/CSR ticket asking them to change it to a skill tape or whatever. They said that they are dropping as intended. They will not change them.

so what happens if you tune one of these? does it still give you the mods once it's in a saber?

They cannot be tuned nor can they be placed in sabers.
I would expect that this is a latent design which is to enhance lightsabers in a future patch or it was axed due to the inability to test. They should only show Jedi mods if they are intended to be placed into sabers.

/yeah, I did a ticket for min also and the CSR said , let me sum it up.. "sorry bout that... your SOL, but send in a bug report"

at one point it was said that as long as it's in your top level inventory...the mod was added...never had one to actually test it though.

i got a nice one handed sabre speed 12, fire resist 13 one, but i guess there just nice looking paperweights

I got one yesterday too, +3 unarmed acc, +3 one handed acc, +2 droid use
after i looted it I noticed that I was dropping the mobs faster than before just by having it in my inventory(top level). didnt check the skill mods on my skill tree yet tho.
I also got mine on Lok

from everything ive heard yes there junk, but id hold on to it still, maybe someday they will be of use who nows

i looted a force acc +11 and 2 hand ls speed +13red crystalcsr told me it was a useless item
