Thread: Giant Dune Kimogila's droping advanced battle core's instead of scales...?

Can anyone confirm? I camped them most of the day today killed some 30+ all i got was a couple stacks of 7 advanced battle cores every 7 kills or so which would somewhat fall in line with the usual drop rate....

I KILED ABOUT150 AND GOT AROUND 50 ADV BC'S - AND 2 NICEC PLATES - NO SCALES



In game names Lorlargeb or -Lor- though I like to have winings dropped off on one of my vendors as it is hit and miss on getting me in game.

If good enough please place on one of Lors vendors on Tat. Shuttle to the City of Oasis. My Vendors are located at -2446 -3686

Killed 9 two days ago, got a set of 8 scales (the one for RIS, not the core enhancers), 2 sets of adv battle Core, and others dropped nothing. So basically, yep, they still drop, and you just were out of luck.

Advanced Battle Cores


Pretty much what i've ever looted off them. Some days i'll get gdk scales, others i'll get only cores. Always with regular kimogila scales tossed in the mix. Shrug, just info to stop people from speculating, and just realize they have bad luck when killing only 10.

Where do you normally find enough of these to kill 5, 10, etc...


I occasionally find a random spawn of GDK, but usually nothing but Giant Kimos, Enraged Kimos, regular Kimos.

I sometimes find random spawns while rolling around that'll have 2 at the spawn, then just keep spawning for 30+ minutes as soon as you shoot one, and it moves (sometimes they are rooted for some reason) another will spawn.

GDK Scales for Ris are still dropping.....in 3 hours work got 40 scales...best bet is to find random spawns..there will usually be 3 or 4 in the spawn and the spawn will stay for 30 min to 45 min. Easiest way to find spawns is to put ur radar on 256 or 512 distance and drive around when you get red dots with yellow circles its usually Giant Dune Kimos or Enraged

Sometimes RIS loot is impossible to get....like the other night I killed 70 wild gurk lairs, about 40 with kings...no gurk hides. I think there's a limit to how many people can loot in a certain time cycle and when that gets exceeded, no one gets anything more.

Now that it's OK to support the removal of classes in your signature, I firmly support the removal of all the benny hill glowstick fanclub from the game; it was a lot more fun before they came.

I have the same problems with Gurk Kings, but not with GDKs at all, I'd say one out of every 3 drop GDK scales for me, that's 30 minutes at Kimo Town, or usually one wild spawn, sometimes get them more oftenthan that, but Reclusive Gurk Kings seem unable to ever drop their hides for me anymore.

If you can't find any wild GDK, head to Kimo Town, there's a static spawn of 1 GDK, every 10 mins.
