Some of the trandosians on kashyyyk have headsets with an antena and a small colored glass covering one eye...
Tonight "Stimulantorb" or whatever his nameis, hadone like it on his char... anyone know how or were to get one of these?

You need to buy a copy of the Japanese Special Edition of Star Wars Galaxies and register that account key on your current account in order to get those interesting 'goggles'.

sounds complicated though... does it change anything about my account? or is it just the key that i change and then everything continius as normal? and are they tradeable?

I've read that you get both sets of the japanese glasses and the american glasses as well as the flash speeder. They aren't tradeable though.

You don't change the account key at all; it does not force you to use the Japanese interface, it does, basically, nothing except allow you to add the Japanese Special Edition rewards to your characters.
I have a basic account key, an American Special Edition account key, a JtL pre-order account key, a RotW account key, and a TTE account key all registered with my account. These things add together, they don't override.
