Thread: new maruder armor or noob question???

i was looking at a guide and i useally click clickys on peoples sigs i pressed this one guys and found a bunch of armour i scrolled down to the 3rd row and saw a set of recon battle and assult armour sets heres a link

these were armor sets that were in ROTW beta. But never made it to live. The recon maurader armor is sweeet. I hope they bring this back

wait! but in the TOW trailer theres a guy who i think has the reconmarauder helm on when you see people walking the dude with the big sycthe sword (or at least it looks like a scythe sword) look at his head it might be a sign

I always wear such armors, but the ones I have are pre-CU, they were rewards from Marauder Theme park on Endor. I don't know if they are still active. But the helmet was not part of it pre-CU.
I hope to be able to get a new crafted one soon, my owns are starting to be really decayed... :-(

also the assault armor is in fact craftable by Armorsmiths but it is now Battle.

All the Maurader armor full sets are the ugliest armors in game, more so thanfull set of Padded. I like wearing theMaurader chest with other armors, but all the other pieces especially including the helmet are terrible man!I'm glad the Recon &Battle sets never made it in game, someone in the higher ups has some taste.

Yep its battle and i think you get theRecon from the Maruader stronghold on endor. Quested. Not confirmed but thats what i was told many moons ago.

ChemicalBro, no offense, butI have to disagree with you. Myself, I think the recon armor helmet is one of the coolest helms SOE has managed to make so far. The armors I hate are the Rebel faction armors. You are certainly welcome to your opinion, but you denounced the Marauder armors so hard, I had to say something :-)

I also think the recon armor helm is nice. Just not in the default colors. When (or if) they allow it to be a crafted armor, I think black with a gold trim around the eyes will be quite cool looking.

I agree with you even more Kaorset, I place the Rebel armors 2nd ugliest to the Mauraders. I am kinda intrigued by the Recon Maurader helmet, it has a pointy top & what appears to me a blindfold. It's sorta pointy-headed ninja like, but I've never seen anyone wearing it ingame to get a better look at it.
2pieces, Recon helmet & Assault chest, out of the whole Maurader collection that are good looking. That's just sad. Even Rebel armors have alot more cooler pieces outside of those weird helmets.
