They used to be the same as the blue ones, Just tell ya what Profession you had to master, Now I dont think Either do anything

for jedi it replenishes force pool otherwise it just hums a bit

Yep they are only good for house decoration, and Jedi can replenish there force by eating one

I looted this from a Dark Trooper last night. When you right-click on it, one of the options is "Use". What is it for? What does it do? Thanks!

A jedi can use it to regain full force...and only jedi can use it but you can use it as deco or sell it

Right mate, a blue or sith holocron can be used for refilling force bar from a jedi, only a jedi. Before holocrons can be used for discovering the path for being a jedi, but not now.
