OMG it would be awsome to have a house directly in an NPC city. Just high rent, like 200cr an hour. Think of vendors in that house, lol. Apartments in teh coronet sky scrapers.

Actually instead of saying an exact ending timeIt would have a description of ending like this
Very long = Atleast 24 hrs left
Long = 12 - 24 hrs left
short = 6 -12 hrs left
ending soon = Less then 6 hours left
Also you have the option of setting a Buyout price

yeah, just what we need something ripped DIRECTLY from a competing (and crappier) game like WoW (aka: toontown online) no thanks. the apartment idea is a good one though, the dev's at fan fest 04 said that'd be added in to bring players back to the "forgotte NPC cities". but as we all know, most of those dev's no longer work on SWG, so well, there ya have it.

Obviously you have never played WoW? WoW is a fun game. they just made it too easy to hit lvl 60

Im sure this would please about 85% of the players....
In game Auction houses in the following Cities
Coronet
Theed
Mos Eisley
With this, add the ability to mail and item thru the mail system

And what would these entail? Would a person run in, list their items for auction, and have it handled a la ebay with end dates/times and proxy bidding?
It could be a very cool thing if put in place, but I'd still rather have something like a 500k crate of resources, lol.
Heck, I'd settle for the removal of serial numbers for non-stat affecting components, or a factory system that would allow me to move more than one crate of something at a time. OH! Or being able to relist multiple items for the same price, at the same time.

correct.
It would also entail when someone bids the funds are taken from them right away so they cannot retract, or back out of an auction
If someone outbids them the money is sent back to them thru the mail system by the game. If they win the item it would appear in their mailbox for them to retrieve and the proceeds from the sale would be in turn sent to the seller
