I have killed 25 giants from last night to this morning, i picked up 1 set of base tissue, 3 sets of scales and 4 sets of armor layers 0 pearls.

last night got about 12 pearls and 6 sets of tissues... sacles segments too.... all in about 2 hours.. so its defintely not broken...

i just now killed around 6 and got 2 pearls and the other 4 were empty so they are dropping.
