Hey devs im sure you guys have already had suggestions on this but i would like to suggest it again.
I think you should be able to remove Armor/Clothing Attachments from clothing/armor. This would make it so people would not need to use the pre-nerf bandoliers/belts... and there would be a reason to actually put attachments into armor instead of them just being wasted.
This would depreciate and lower the price of all attachments and everyone would probably have maxed stats if you could just remove and add as you want. I think Artisans should be able to make a Kit to remove attachments. This kit would have to require a lot of rare resources, so these things would cost a lot of money, this way it is harder to attain one, but at least there is a way to remove attachments.

I like it....even better if they'd actually remove the broken attachments from the game.

yea when i originally wrote the 1st part of that suggestion i was thinking you could do a radial menu thing. But then midway thru (where i talk about a kit to remove them) i realized that the price of attachments would probably drop dramatically and everyone would have maxed stats, because the could just put all the attachments in their armor which is 4 sockets x 9 (or 7) armor pieces... thats 36 armor attachments.. which means u could cap every stat, and have no consequence when the armor is decayed. So i believe the kits should be hard to build so that would prevent all of this stacking, at least somewhat.

Yeh people will still get there hands on the kits no matter how hard they are to build I dunno if I support the idea because this would be verry nice but still veryone will have full mods so I dunno part of me says YES part of me says hmmmm maby not

I agree with you, however I don't think that the attachment-removal kits should be so hard to construct. In fact I'd go so far as to say it should just be a menu option, similar to removign power-ups from weaons (except that the attachment isn't destroyed in the process).
Alternatively,when the clothing/armour that the attachement is attached to is finally worn down to zero condition, you can destroy it and get the attachments back that way.

I like the Kit to remove the attachments. Make them Like the Recyclers of the last patch. Epic loot gathering quest to make an Armor Recycler, and a Clothing Recycler, that grinds up the armor/clothes and spits out the attachment and some recycled resource.
Also to add the element of Danger to using them I would sugest that using your armor to the point of it breaking would destroy the attachment. But if you recycled it before zero hit points then you could get it back. That way you need to watch the conditon of your armor. (unlike me who just fights in it untill i get one hitted by a meatlump
)

You say this like it's a bad thing! I think this would serve to help bring down the over inflated ecconomies and level the playing field in PvP.

Or just more of the working, yet still ultimately useless, mods. Surveying, Volley Fire, Rescue, anyone?
