Thread: New Jedi robes?

This is just a thought that ran through my mind..
Padawans and Knights only have one robe to choose from, but I think it would be nice if Jedi were able to choose different types and colors of Padawan and Knight robes (Notice how Anakin in Episode, at least in the begining of the movie, he is in black robes?). I'm sure Jedi now, and future Jedi, wouldn't mind at all if they could choosea different style of robes, or color, ifthey want.
Just a thought.

I would rather see they added in more clothing wearable by everyone, not just jedi

well, i would agree with the more jedi clothing, but only if non jedi clothing is greatly improved as well. this is a silly thing to be annoyed by, but i am annoyed when i see 15 white robed jedi a day. as i recall, most the jedi i saw were wearing other colors other then just white.

I think non-Jedi have a pretty fair amount of clothes to choose from, at the moment, but new things are always good.
Jedi only receive one type of robe at Padawan, Knight, and Master. I'm sure some Jedi would like different robes and color schemes.

Theres more than 1 type of Jedi robe, but the rest are pretty much impossible to get with Master being broken (unless DEV's fixed it)

Yeah, but I mean for like each rank, there should be different styles of robes. You never really saw Jedi wearing the same clothes in the movies (maybe in the novels that have been written), but seeing a group of Padawans all dressed in the same exact clothes?
Just having different colored robes, for those ranks,would be a plus I think.

It would be preferable to issue jedi with a +10 force regen and a +250 force pool CA when they unlock. Giving people robes to use makes no sense if you then tell jedi that they should hide away and not get spotted. Not wearing robes is a lot like telling a swordsman not to wear composite when fighting, so a jedisimply wearing other clothes is not a viable option...

i actually would liketo see more jedi in disguise. luke skywalker wore WAY cooler stuff..

The robes are the colors they are to differentiate factional alignment

Yea, but by the time you reach knight in order to get the new robes, it's pretty evident which faction is which...your own is a nice purple colour, the other is a beautiful scarlet red

I'm sure every Jedi, whatever faction they may be, in the movies and books of the expanded universe, isn't wearing the exact same type of robe as another, in most cases.

Personally I'd like to see the jedi robe brken up into sections, and made accessable to all players (after all the jedi robes are supposed to be a common piece of clothing). For instance you'd have the undershirt, the overrobes, the pants, and boots. They would all have the +10 FR and +250 Force but it doesn't stack.
The robes are fully tailored, and they actually have different models, unlike most jackets though a claok, and only a cloak can be worn over the top of the robes.
I hope they'd actually look at some of the screenies form the prequels if they do do it this way, because there are supposed to be 2 tails at the front and two at the back. Instead of coming together at the back.

I'd be happy if they let us wear the hoodedcloaks over the jedi robes
