Hi ,i looted an AA today that has +25 take cover +25 rifle aiming. (listed in that order). Now i am a rifle man and would like the aiming one to stick. I read that if i place this as it is the first one will stick. Can anyone plz explain to me howi get the aming part of it to stick? Any help would be most welcome:-) Nemis

If both stats are on the same AA, they'll both stick. Just don't put another Rifle Aiming or Cover AA on or the bonus won't stack. The new will overwrite the old.

here is how it works, they stick in the order they are on the sea unless the first mod has a less +mod than a following mod. for example
rifle speed +8
carbine speed +8
polearm speed +2
the rifle speed +8 would stick
rifle speed +2
carbine speed +8
polearm speed +8
in this case, the carbine speed would stick.

Only one attribute will stick. It is normally the strongest one unless you have one stronger on the item of clothing already. If they are both the same, the first attribute is said to stick (this i havnt tried myself but its talked about on the forums and no-one has argued it).
Now my question on the whole thing? Why wouldnt you want cover to stick anyhow ? Aiming is pretty useless? Just increases your chance to hit when you use the Aim command ...correct ? Now it was Accuracy, I would understand that ?
PS what /where did you loot such a beast of an attachement?

Take cover is broken. Cover is the mod that works for rifleman. And both rifle aiming and cover are completely useless. I havent aimed a rifle in over a year and a half. I havent used cover in about the same amount of time as all it does is increase your ranged defense a bit and makes you take alot more damage when a mob aggros and uses a melee attack on you.
