The quick and dirty guide to Mandalorian Armor:
Mandalorian can be "crafted" only in one place: the bottom of Deathwatch Bunker, on Endor, in one of three forge rooms. Each piece requires the following parts:
1) The "base" BH piece that will be turned into Mando
2) Protective Coating
3) Binary Liquid
4) Alum mineral
Note about the Alum mineral: This can only be obtained by doing the easily most difficult quest in the game, given to you by the foreman in the mines. I had to make multiple trips to complete it, as the whole quest (3 parts) takes significantly longer than a buff session. Expect to need at least a pair of MLS jedi.
Mandalorian Armor has a random color palette, varying from 1 (gloves) to 3 (helmet) color choices. The colors, as far as I can tell, are pulled from the padded armor color palette. This is a very large (128+ color) palette. So the color combinations are pretty much limitless, however, it seems some are more common than others (a guy on another server has a matching color helm to mine)
The resists on Mandalorian are all the same as seen in the screenshot shown at the bottom of the page. The stats, mods and resists of the base BH piece don't appear to affect it.

Hope this helped.

^^ basically what he said
binary/coatings are looted off death watch (previously thought to be ghost/wraiths only, but we just just looted one off a bloodguard few days back
alum minerals is reward from foremans quest, read a DWB guide for more info.
as for doing it... we've crafted a jetpack with 8 people (no jedi), so as long as you got a strong team, you should be able to push it.
flurry has a matching helm to yours
mine is gold
(see sig)
