Thread: Exceptional and Quality BH Armor?

I've looted about 5 pieces of BH Armor from Black Sun npc's. So far3 of them have about 40k condition and the names on those are yellow. The other2 pieces have only 15-25k condition and the names are not highlighted in yellow. Are there differences in the value of these 2 varients of this armor? I'd really would like I full set of "excpetional" and not "quality" armor pieces 
....but BH is hard enough to get a hold of without emptying my pockets!

I believe the yellow names just let you know that the item is better than the base drop...
for instance let's say the base drop for something is "min damage: 5" if you get something that is "min damage: 6" the name will be yellow but it still may be worthless...you just kinda have to play it by ear depending on the item.

thanks, that helped....does anyone out there have a full set of just the "excpetional" BH armor? or do most of you guys just make full set of whatever (quality and excpetional) pieces you can loot?
I was also wondering if the difference in condition makes a difference in how good your mando pieces are when there are made?

Im general, white text pieces are 30% base and top out at 40k condition. There are exceptions though (with lower base%)
Yellow text has a random condion, the most I've seen is in the 80,000's, the least I've seen is about 11k. Yellow text usually has resists of about 10% to 30% although the highest I've seen is 26%. Yellow text also has the chance to have skill mods on the item. These are the rare ones (with skill mods)
There was a time in the past when BH could have like 90% base or 45% base, etc, and insane skill mods, but nowadays you won't loot any over 30% condition. The skill mods are usually 2 or 3 totalling about 13-20 skill points.

hehe, yeah. so far my BH armor suit is made up of all looted yellow text armor. (looted all parts myself no buying pieces). And i have a spare chestplate and left bicep, chestplate has plus 14 melee defense and plus 9 bleed resist. Bicep is yellow with 40% resist. This is on tempest tho.

how long did it take you to loot a whole suit of all yellow text BH armor pieces?

someone told me that he had a bicept that was like +25 defence to 4 diferent thing and have the "legendary" in the names... not sure if that can be trusted or not...

Where do you find the black suns to loot BH off of? I have been trying to get this info for a long time and nobody has been able to answer this question for me.

along the coast of the mining outpost on yavin all the way up towards the north west mountain, ive found a few along the foot of the mountain all the way around it, never really on top of the mountain
also on endor between the 2 outposts
i dunno where on dathomir though
