As i was changging all my armor into my Guild colors a thought popped into my head about being able to change weapon color. Either as the weaponsmith or a master artisan creating paint kits, i think it would be pretty sweet to carry around ur own costom colored gaffi or T-21.
Just imagine running down a jedi with ur Golden Stun Baton or PH with a dark red grip on it. If you can change armor colors and vehicle colors why not weapons.

How about repairkits for vehicles, for those who are ns hunting or driving through dath a lot.
I seem to always have a crate of swoops in my droid, although repairkits for swoops would be better and cheaper.

I'd like to see colored weapons too with the ability for WSs to change the color of the laser too.

Make the barrels (component for rifles/carbines/pistols) have an option to select bolt color, this would rock the room tbh

Being able to change the color of weapons and their blasts would be awesome. And not just for weaponsmiths, either - shipwrights should be able to make some of those cool weapon effects that looted weapons have (like that lightning blast, for example).

This is an outstanding idea!!
Weapon customization kits and the option for a WS to change the color of weapons should be added.
And about changing the bolt color, that would be great! I think it should at least stay in relation to what type of damage the blaster does.
I think it should at least stay in relation to what type of damage the blaster does. For example acid damage should probably stay green, and even have the same animation as the glop grenade when it hits a target? <-- who knows just an idea.
Heat weapons should stay with warm colors, red, orange, yellow, etc.
Cold damage should remain blue, or white even? mmmm that would look great.
Kinetic should stay the same as it is now.
Stun I am not sure about, this one is a tricky one. I like the geo pistol effect but it gets annoying.
I think energy should have a wide variety of colors available. and pink bolts from a T21 would be awesome!

Dont get me wrong i agree would be cool but........ architects have been screaming for the ability to change the colors of furniture since the beginning of time so i wouldnt hold your breath it would make too much since for them to add such a simple feature that would add so much to the game.
but then again i might be too big of a pesimist.

Not sure why it would take time to develop something like this. My partner flies around in a gold-painted Krayt spaceship (still want to paint my TIE fighters, blast it!), I drive a red and blue swoop...all it really is, is a new skin over an existing item.

It's an interesting idea but as aWS, it would drive me nuts. "You don't have any T21s with green laser fire, all I see is blue and
red".

Then we could set up a huge G I Joe battle with all the bad guys shoot red and all the good guys shoot blue.

Good idea, but it would be conusing b/c it'd be hard to tell what specials someone is shooting(since I think special shots have diferent colors) and what kind of dmg they're doing(blue for kinetic and red for energy,t'd be confusing to know what kind of dmg they're doing and protect yourself accordingly),but changing the color of the weapon itself would be fine I think.
Also I agree COMPLETELY on that vehicle repair kit idea. I ride around Kashyyyk for a few hours and hate having to fly back to Coronet to repair it(b/c Kash is too primitive for garages or something).
