Thread: What exactly do recyclers do?

I don't have enough posts yet to be able to use the search feature, and I couldn't seem to find out what these things do. Can anyone clue me in? Thanks.

like if you have 1k of "name" copper and 3k of "name" copper, ETC then u can put it into the recycler and make a mass number of one. sometimes it comes out grinding qualty, but sometimes u get really good stats.

The only way you will get good stats is if you put everything in with extremely high quality stuff. Really they are awsome for components that have stuff thats hard to get, for example chefs like myself love the creature one which takes milk, which is a pain to get but with it you can make lots of small stacks of milk into a big stack. Since quality dosent matter and since large stacks of milk normally cost 40cpu You just saved money. I would guess architechts like the ore one too.

Quality is always the same - no matter what you put in, you always get 200 on all stats.

Did it used to be diffrent? Someone told me if you put in all good quality it would come out good...of course now that I think about it that dosent make sense at all...nvmd.
