Thread: Heres a Nifty Idea, Remove Borked Loot
Oh and while your at it revamp squad leader/commando/ranger, give smugglers missions, fix weapon name colouring, fix battlefields, introduce interesting thoughtful content, allow for weaponsmiths to make the new kashykk weapons, allow players to arrange items and decorate in 3D not just left right/up down, and dont screw around with my xp anymore.
but we already know what soe will do thell announce a new expansion and hope that we will get all excited about it and its roomers till it comes out then obviously be playing it tootaly distrcting us from all the broken stuff in game
Firststepthough would be to fix the loot that is meant to be working Sea's wise you'ull be surprised whats not working atall!

I had a CA with weapon Exp 25 ranged Def 24 so i thought id keep it and use in my Jedi gloves that already has LS speed in them , much to my disapointment the ranged Def made "0" damage reduction atall! :@
Tis all becoming a little to much to put up with!!
deffence now makes you harder to hit, level and skill type effects the amount of damage taken

I agree that SOE will never fix everything in he game....ever. But.......there are "seemingly" quick fixes that can be done to fix the issue of broken mods. In publish 23 any dancer/music wound healing mods from attachmentswill be auto converted to enhancement mods. If they can do that with ent mods why can't they apply the same code to other broken mods?
Here are some examples of broken mods and what they could possibly be turned into:
Grenade exp...........thrown weapon accuracy/speed or other useful commando mod
Droid complexity............droid exp or assembly
Def vs (ie intim, blind, etc)........ranged/melee defense or random weapon defense (the jury is still out on if def vs tapes actually do anything)
Counterattack/dodge/block etc (not sure if these drop anymore)........random weapon defense based on the original mod. IE counterattack (old carb/swords mod) could be turned into carb or swordsman defense.
In cases where a mod already exists on the tape they could make it so that only the highest mod sticks OR (if they want to be nice) stack the mod to make it higher (but not to exceed +25). While this might take more time to code I'm sure it would be well worth the wait.

Good change, maybe there is a way forward. maybe should have changed when they removed the healing though.
