I killed two of the elite nova's that are in theed now and then (100K HAM). Didn't get anything though. Haven't seen em since.

I've kille a bunch of every possible novatrooper. Nothign so far.

Even the Elite Novatroopers Commander...

Got a health fire EE3 carbineoff of an Elite Novatrooper a couple of nights ago. Nothing great, but it was something.

not a novatrooper but I also killed a bunch of these dark big fellas on yavin. NOTHING!

haha, yeah they suck cause they kite, and no, no good loot, just wasted time

I got a very nice health poison rifle from some sort of nova trooper, can't recall which type.

got a +18 rifle crawl speed/ +18 Two hand melee dmg AA off one in bestine I think he was a npc left over from when vader landed.

The hardest is that the Light Knights can Kill their Trial Nr.9 on the Worldmap and the Dark Jedi must go on the Corvette and kill a mob that is 2.5 times stronger than a Elite Nova Trooper, and this 4 Times and in only 1hour.
