Ok maybe I have just had the worse string of luck lately but has anyone else been unable to lootKit Piecesand Such from the low Level NPC's as of late?

For two days now i have been attacking meatlumps, loons, you name it and have not gotten anything since Friday.

Well the lootkits are for Glass Table , Naboo Sculpture , Orange and Blue Loomed Rug and Gong Structure. Just approach any junk dealer in a major city and ask him what he can give ya for free and he will provide you with the selection above. There is one right next to the starport in cnet, that i most frequently use.

The tracking assembly parts are for an FS quest, there isn't a kit for them......you need them for one of the quests at Aurellia. If you're not doing that quest, they're useless.

The junk dealer I use on Eclipse is behind the shuttleport next to the med center in Cnet.

Iv just recently looted some glass table parts and jsut finished up the blue rug. Tell me if you noticed that it seems the loot each type of npc drops changes from day to day.

I'm thinking so too, but I haven't done many loot runs lately. Been too busy figuring out the new Doc system.

Seems to me that's what they're doing........here's what I'm thinking. When the new loot hit, alot of other stuff started dropping less, while the Wanted posters and new schems were dropping like flies. Obviously, they wanted to get the new stuff out in a reasonable amount, to help the vendors. Drops have always run in cycles like that....certain things will drop like crazy for a few weeks, then go back to being harder to find, while another set of loot picks up speed. I'm thinking it has to do with the amount of each item "on the market". Rare items will always be rare (pearls, etc), they're supposed to be, but if there's a shortage on the server, they'll pick up the drop speed a bit. When a new loot piece hits, it'll go like mad for a week or two, then taper off.

My other thinking is that they're really killing the loot camping. I know of quite a few merchants that either pay somebody to camp for a particular loot piece, in large quantities, or have an alt that they use to camp out areas for stock. To my mind, that's giving the merchants and vendors an easy time of it, they've always got a ton of loot in stock, can specialize in particular rare items, and don't really have to work all that hard for it. Merchants should be more dependent on the public, not just one particular person with uber skills. That merchant and his buddy get rich, while other vedors with less resources can't even pay the rent. The way it stands now, you can't camp for loot anymore, you have to either actively hunt for it yourself, or rely more on a greater population of customers to bring you the stuff. I have no problems with that, it encourages more trading.....like "dude, I really need new armor and stuff, but I have no money. I do have this XXXXXXX loot, though, can we trade?"

Also, with killing the repeating macros, vendors won't be able to spam in SP anymore, so they'll be even more dependent on people bringing stuff to them.

Personally, I think it's a good thing. I remember when I first started playing, didn't know what loot was good, or where to get it, I was always psyched when I got something good, I didn't really care where. The way it is lately (or was), if you know where to look, you just hang out there all day, loot a bunch of the same thing, go sell it, make some credits, go back, kill the same spawns over and over.........no fun. That, and since they really picked up the GCW, I think they're trying to force players to travel more, go places they normally don't, pick up the traffic on planets like Endor and Yavin, that are generally deserted..........get people off Dant and Corellia. Kindof why I think they really jacked the spawn rates on Tat.

Well still another day of trying to get ANY Loot Kit Parts for the Rugs, gong, table,& sculpture...

And all i have to show for it is close to 300 of Corrupted datadisks, 300 Broken Datapads, & 300 Broken Hand-Held Viewscreens, & 300 Dud fireworks....Not a single thread of rug nor piece of any other.

I hope they change this...SOON

Well it's been a week now I have been officially trying to get loot kit pieces such as the rug and gong and such with no luck...i open to suggestions if they are still in the game. But as i said now a week and nothing...gotta love those devs, they could screw up a wet dream
