anyone looted one of these post PUB 17? I killed necro 8 times now and no luck

And no additional damage is on the crystal. When you tune it, you can possibly tune it to achieve over 200 elemental damage (most normal crystals tune 150-180 from my experience)


Mine tuned to 205

A friend of mine's tuned to 185


*edit* And when I say "tuned to" I mean when inserted into a hilt the elemental damage is 205, nothing appears on the crystal itself.

Elemental damage for the crystal is based on a derived number calculated from the rest of the pearls/crystals in the saber.

Strange this is, My other crystal was only getting 172, I tuned the banes, slapped it in, 205

Try multiple different color crystals, you should get the same...but the elementals are slightly higher in damage as I have noticed.
