hey all, just did the ranged arm quest, got my arm, took off all of my ubese armor (im a smuggler, all i can use is recon) now what im wondering, what is the best way to cover my self up now? the ubese was a jacket, with forearm plates.. i was thinking something with a chest plate and an arm sleeve for the other side, anyone know if this would work and what kinda armor?


also,does the arm give +10 range all the time or only when you use the abil it comes with.

Get tantel, its what i use as a smuggler, i think its a bit better than ubese

The differect recons use different resources. My ubese is much better than my tantel. If you have the money, you might get a set of recon faction armor. You might even be able to work out a trade of faction points for the set.

You get the mods any time, not just when you use the ability. The "Out of Range" message on creatures still comes up though, so keep that in mind.
