Thread: no transfer bio linked items?

Is it intended that we can not transfer items such as xris acid sword or knuckles of katarn or is it a bug? if its a bug does anyone know when it will be fixed?

I thought that's what was meant by "bio-linked"; i.e. linked to one person. Only one person can use it.


I'm not sure if you mean just trade, like for display, and not for multiple players to use. I'm pretty sure you can drop bio-linked stuff in houses, and seems like it could be picked up by anyone on admin. But if it's bio-linked, then only the linkee can Equip the item.


This concept is not a new one, it's known as "No Drop" in Everquest, and "Soulbound" in World of Warcraft.

Ya know, I keep hearing "fixed in publish 19" But we all know that for every thing they fix at least 5 worse problems show up.
