Anyways, the Varactyl (CL10) only comes from the Digital Download. The other Varactyl (CL65) is the reward for a quest only a MCH can take.

Talk to the person in the cell at the bottom of the big tree on Kashyyk. He will send you on a series of quests for him to prove his innocence. after you help him he will tell you to go to the Geno-caves and after you enter the code for the first door you come across, it will be immediately to your Left, in a metal box..is a mount called a Bolotaur (much bigger and slower lizardthan the Varactyl you get for the DD), quick grab it before you are slain. I am not a CH and i can mount and ride it just fine.

Post on your galaxy's trade forums for info on prices, because there's no quest for a regular varactyl.

PS- don't blame the guy who asked you to sell your BARC, blame your ownself for not fonding out what it was worth before you bit into whatever line he fed you. First rule of commerce is to sell when you want to, not when they want you to.

Yeah, don't listen to him. People that rip new players off are only hurting the game. There is nothing at all crafty about their actions. Too bad they didnt make those things non tradeable like the flash speeder. Oh well.

I have the varactyl and honestly I like my Cu Pa (looks like a Taun Taun) better than my varactyl. There are plenty of mounts aside from those. You just need to find a Creature Handler to train a non-Creature Handler mount for you. You might even find some on vendors currently. These can usually be had for little money. If you can find a CH they may even give you one for free, although I must admit the Bolotaurs do look cool.

get the bolataur, he is very cool looking. quest from the geonosian in the cage at the foot of the big tree in kachiro as my fellow posters have mentioned.

the first quest he sends you on is on kashyyk.. go to the second trando camp and kill a certain number of researchers, not to hard a level 54 can do easily. the last step is a bit harder but maybe easier after pub 19 since the notes say they are fixing the kwi spawn at the entrance of the geonosian cave on yavin4, i recommend having friends to get in still.

Get the Bolotaur mount.

The last phase of he quest requires a friend to burst run to the Kwei and back out again, oulling all the agro bar one Kwi. You follow with a burst run of your own to the door, enter the code and get inside. The Lootbox is just to the left, get out and bust run out of the Geo Caves.

Reward, one cool looking, and huge mount.
