I just wanted to see if someone could set things absolutely straight about attachments seeing as I'm going to be putting a butt load on my armor and clothing soon..
In a hypothetical situation lets say I have one socket left on a piece of armor and I want to put an attachment on it that has 3 mods, now out of those 3 mods the one that will stick is the one with the highest number correct? Regardless of if it's the first mod on the attachment?
Also BE cloths count as part of the +25 cap right?
Anyhow thanks in advance for any help.

For your questions:
1) Yes the highest of those 3 mods will stick in the final socket, provided you don't already have that same mod already in the item. (In the case of ties order will be determined alphabetically, i.e, order on attachment.)
2) BE clothes count toward the +25 cap. As noted above, don't try to put an attachment into a clothing item that already has that same mod.

So I understand completely about the CA/Mods attachments:
If I have on a +16 melee defense and a +16 ranged defense shirt, a +16 melee defense and a +16 ranged defense pants, a +16 melee defense and a +16 ranged defense coat; my TOTAL melee defense and a ranged defense is only +25 NOT +48, RIGHT?
THANKS IN ADVANCE!
