Thread: 300k + HAM Krayts Idea

What if krayts were similar to Malfosa? Not uber CL, but uber HAM.
Juvenile
HAM: 200k
Level: 79
Pearl: Good
Canyon
HAM: 255k
Level: 80
Pearl: Quality
Giant
HAM: 300k
Level: 81
Pearl: Premium
Ancient
HAM: 325k
Level: 82
Pearl: Flawless
Assumptions:
a SOLID player could solo an ancient, but it would take them over an hour
a SOLID group (like DWB cohesiveness) could knock out an ancient in 10 minutes
average loot drops, say, 1:8
Solo Example:
that means that on average, if a person would do nothing in the game but attack an ancient for 8 solid hours. they would get a flawless (on average). seems fair to me. if a dude spends that much time... he deserves it.
Group Example:
THE GROUP would get a flawless every 80 minutes on average. that seems fair since you consider 7 people in the group DO NOT get the loot.
And take away all the -Immune-, we gotta be able to use crowd control on em.

dude. you gotta think outside the box to brainstorm. i'm talking about the loot we had pre-cu on krayts..
ancients drop flawless
giants drop premiums
etc...

All I can say, this case was the same before cu. Creatures had levels (challange level) and crystal/pearl quality depended on that. For example canyons, giants were over 250, ancients over 300. Anyway shouldn't compare the two systems and devs only nerfing our loots (djm and krayt case after cu and its all about the money). If you want prems, should ask them to increase their CL BUT leave some "low-end content" for the solo players aswell ( My idea: juve lvl 82 good pearl | canyon lvl 110 quality | giant lvl ~180 select | ancient lvl 250 premium ).

i saw a nest of lvl 378 voritors on dantooine a couple days ago.. maybe they can drop flawless with a GIA cert... woot!

good point. HAM regen would need to be inline with the ability kill them the way i mentioned: solo in a little over an hour... and 10 minutes wiht a group.
the main point of all this is that they take x amount of time to kill and yeild pearls after x*y amount of time. the numbers i threw out there would be about an hour for solo people and about 10 minutes for groups

that kind of HAM is outrageous.... i did atleast 10x more dmg precu than i do now.... krayts used to be 300k ham + ..... now there is now way a krayt should have anywhere near that.... the regen rate on them is already insanely high
