No, that's total wrong, the Chiss backpack and the brody quests are two seperate quests. To start the chiss backpack quest you do have to talk to Johnson Smith, either AFTER you do the Finding Brody Johnson Quest. Johnson Smith will send you to talk to someone, which then that person will send you after a stash of salt, and you return it to Johnson. Then Johnson has you talk to a Chiss female that's in the very next tent, She sends you on a few quests, then during these quests you get a forged pass to get into hracca glade. You go talk to Sordaan and tell him you're going to go kill a creature in there, once you kill and loot the creature you'll have the Chiss backpack. I'm almost done with the quest myself

Umm, during the quest you find out that Johnson Smith is Brody Johnson, so they are not separate quests. The person you talk to in order to get in the glade is not Sordaan, it is the guy at the gate to the Hraca Glade once Johnson Smith tells you to go there. Sordaan's wager quests are not in the Hraca Glade but a separate instanced area, Sordaan will give you a shuttle ticket to give to the shuttle pilot in the Rodian camp, Sordaan's wagers give you weapons as rewards, not the Chiss backpack.

Ahhh spoilers! spoilers! You just ruined the quest for me.... just kidding... I already got the backpack.

you get the backpack as a reward for killing the kkohwrott (sp) in the glades..it is a 30 min mission..you kill 30 chiss poachers, lvl 78 and the kk spawns..with 4 people or so i cand be done with a couple min left..have to be quick though
