Since bio engineered clothing now has this, wondering if theyre even worthwhile anymore. Any help would be appreciated.

not too sure. BE clothing seems to be not working, chef food that adds defenses doing nothing. Seems like there is a cap to ranged and melee defense and it also seems like if you mastered two combat profs, ull hit the cap.

BE's could always craft melee defense mods +4 max on a clothing item. However the clothing pieces had to be a certain material like a coat that wouldn't work with a jedi robe.

Are they still +4s or can they craft even higher now?

I can make +16 Melee/Ranged BE clothes on Tarquinas. With a full suit of RIS on, I need +9 in melee tapes to cap. I think Ranged Def is worthless these days as you can just get 2 Aakuan rings and cap.

But Melee def still has some value for non-jedi as we can only wear one article of clothing with armor. In my case a shirt.

Those attachments might be worth something to a jedi whom want to wear a robe and cannot equip the bio clothing with a robe. Just A thought. I might be wrong as I am not a jedi.

Seems like everything that was worth huge cash is now being made by BE's and taliors
