Thread: Bounty Hunter Means and Methods. What is this loot?

I looted a piece called "Bounty Hunter Means and Methods: Comparative Psychological Perspectives and Quantifications" I'd take it for standard 'odd loot' like the How to Mine, and Warning disks, but this one looks like a datapad and acts like a Junk Vendor loot item, in that I cannotput it down (except in a bank deposit box) andcannot tradeor sell it.
What is it's special signifigance and what do I do with it? It seems obvious to me that there is more to this than meets the eye.
When examined, it says "A paper written by someone named Soras Varn. It documents the wide variety of personalities and modes of operation used by bounty hunters. It appears it was first published in the proceedings of the Institute of Imperial Phychological Studies."
Anyone have a clue?

Interresting....I would say have a Master Bounty Hunter look at it. It may be something usefull, then again it may just be "odd loot" like you said.

I'm on Intrepid, but as for showing it to someone, this is all I can do. I cannot show it to someone in a secure trade, and the only place I can put it down is in a bank. I can't put it down in my house, on my vendor.... Just like a Blue Rug Autoloom..

ROFL... lol this has been in the game for awhile now they can drop off almost any npcs they are just like the Gotal bandits diarys and notebooks in space you should get an option in the radial menu to read it and it is a nice little story or information pieace but as for value I don't know I guess you could collect them all. not really any use other than collecting

Stab in the dark......you doing one of the corvette ticket missions? They drop random items and some are named like that. Go to whoever gave you the mission. If they are willing to buy it, that's what it is.

The only non-terminal missions that I've done lately is starting Nym's Stronghold. That would be about the right timeframe for when it showed up. The last mission I did there was the droid cave.
