Thread: Well I finally got spinner blades

After about 2000 kills I finally got the four spinner blades needed for my creature recycler. Funny how I got two on Saturday within 15 minutes of each other, then got two more on Sunday within 15 minutes of each other.
I'm a happy man. Now for the metal recycler.

yup. The other night I was running Hidden Daggers for about 3 hours. I got 3 spinner blades in the first 40 minutes and nothing after that.

Hmmm. Perhaps they drop based on the number of NPC's killed. Or perhaps a limited number of drops a day... Just guessing. Either way, I finally have what I've been hunting for. Took forever.

The metal recycler parts are fairly easy to get. I got enough parts and the schematics for 2 in less than 3 hours of play.

Did the schematic drop too? I read it drops off corsairs on Lok. The others drop elsewhere. I don't have the listing next to me to confirm. I'm going to try tonight. I have loads of crap metal I could convert and maybe sell as well.
I may go for the chem recycler soon because I can convert all the various polymers I have for traps.

Well it looks like more people are getting blades for once. Last night was the first time, in a long while, where I saw spinner blades on the galaxy search. There were four. Anyone pray guess over the cost for each?
2.75 million credits. Boy, I really hope no one pays 11 million credits just for spinner blades.
Heating elements go for no less than 175k each. Luckily, I found a vendor of a player leaving the game. All his loot was going for 1k. ADK's for 10k. I bought alot of stuff including three crafted agitator motors. I was almost high on life at that moment. HAH

Most good things always drop in spurts. Noticed this when holocrons first came out at the DT base. It was pretty consistent that every 2 hours 2 or 3 would drop in 10 minutes then nothing for 2 hours.
My theory is there is a virtual high end loot container that gets filled on a set interval. Every time you loot you take a roll to get something out of the high end container. When there is nothing in it you get nothing when there is something you get it. A lot of things have a high chance to pull from the container so it gets emptied fairly quickly making loot drop in spurts.
