A friend killed 683 Black Suns on Yavin so far.
He got:

2x Gloves
2x Bracers
1x leggins...

Oh well I killed just 250 or so. But on the other hand I got nothing but credits yet.

/killed black suns yesterday ....got bounty hunter helmet in the first 3 killed and nothing in the last 5 killed. These were on dathomir between imperial outpost and nightsister stronghold somwhere. Not sure what kind of loot you get off these guys or if this helmet is worth much.

Killed about 60 Black Sun over the weekend in NW Yavin and got aHelmet, chestplate, and bracer. No jetpack base But from what I've read I can't complain.

I haven't hunted these post-CU, but pre-CU? I killed easily over 1000 of these guys, and the only piece of armor I didn't get was the chest piece...for some odd reason.


I guess I should go hunting again.

When I first started hunting black sun guys (this is pre-cu) I went about 10 days without looting anything. Then I'm out one day and boom, chest, then a couple spawns later, jetpack base. then the next day looted another base, and another about a week later =P


ahhh.. good old pre-cu TK/Swords BS hunting

Pre cu... besides PvP I hunted black suns day in and day out..


Got a full suit after 2 weeks of hunting them.



Haven't bothered post-cu. Doesn't seem worth it anymore.

In the last few days of hunting them i have had 1 jetpack bases and 3 chestplates lol, on yavin.

went there last night for 6 hours got




  1. BH armour chest

  2. BH gloves

  3. BH leggings

  4. Jet Pack Base

  5. BH belt

  6. BH Helmet

  7. BH chest

So was i lucky YES but just show's it can be done.........also know of 2 other JP bases looted on same night so again they are out there.
