Where do these spawn? or is it just that one that drops the hunting trophy?
Tried searching the forums for it, but gave up after several failed searches.
location please =)

Its endboss from Geonosian Lab on Yahvin, you need to follow quest from npc inside to open doors or pickup numbers on board. Geonosian is easily soloable as Melee/Doc. Enjoy.

acklay is not worth hunting at this moment in time the acklay bones that drop post-cu are not good enough to warrant using since you cannot get any with high enough dmg to want to use instead of using some nice -14 geo cubes and good solidifying agents.

those cubes drop in the same place on yavin right? or am i wrong? geonosians or whatever.

Yep Same place. And just to clarify, there are 2 Acklays: the one out the top of the cave that drops the tropghy skull, and the one at the end of the Geno Lab.
